At this point you should have finished the first part of the scheduled task DMS installation, and if necessary, set compliance to false.

Scheduled Task DMS Agent Installation (2/2)
- Find the Windows Task Scheduler utility.
- Right click and select Run as administrator.
- Expand the Task Scheduler Library on the left
- Find and right click on the ARI DMS Agent task in the list
- Select Properties.
- Click Change User of Group…
- Type users in the box.
- Click the Check Names button.
- You should see users change to the name of your computer followed by “\Users” looking something likeLocalMachineName\Users. Confirm this is the case and click OK.
- You should now see BUILTIN\Users to the left of the Change User of Group… button.
- This will show as the name of your pc the next time you view this page, so don’t worry if you come back.
- Click Change User of Group…
- Next click the Triggers tab.
- Click New.
- Select Daily. Confirm the the trigger is set to Recur every: 1 days..
- Check the repeat task every box.
- Confirm repeat is set to 1 hour for a duration of 1 day.
- click OK.
- Click New.
- Open the Settings tab
- Check the box that says If the task fails, restart every:
- Set If the task fails, restart every: values to 1 minute and 3 times
- Uncheck the box that says Stop the task if it runs longer than: (3 days)
- Confirm the the dropdown list at the bottom says Do not start a new instance.
- Click OK to save all changes.
- Check the box that says If the task fails, restart every:
- Click on the ARI DMS Agent scheduled task
- Click the Run button on the right or in the right-click dropdown.
- If the windows firewall gives you a pop-up, please allow node.js to run on private networks and domain networks.
- Click the refresh button on the right.
- Make sure the status column for the scheduled task now says: running.
- You may close scheduled tasks.
- Click the Run button on the right or in the right-click dropdown.
Confirm the DMS is running
- Open web browser and to the partsmart.net tab.
- Refresh the page. If you don’t see the refresh button ctrl+r or f5 will also refresh the page.
- Click the Locations tab in the Advanced Options menu.
- expand your Location.
- Go down to the DMS Integration section.
- If the DMS was running when the page loaded you will see the DMS Version. If not you will see DMS Agent not running.
Confirm product data
- If we go to any part in your DMS and click Query DMS you should see the selected DMS information update after a short delay. Values from the DMS show in blue, instead of the usual orange.
- You may also go to diagrams in your dms. Selecting Query DMS here will update the part entries as they are expanded.

Edit Catalog Codes
- If your DMS requires a catalog code that does not match what is in PartSmart, you can override the default value for a catalog in the Catalog Code Override section.
- Click Save Changes button.
