TROUBLESHOOTING: Restart Scheduled Task if it is already running

If compliance is set to false after the full scheduled task install is complete you will need to restart the scheduled task so it sees the new config settings (Otherwise you may ignore this section).

To restart the scheduled task.

  • Make sure the Task schedule is open
    • Search windows for the Task Scheduler app.
    • Right click the Task Scheduler.
    • Select Run as Administrator.
  • Find the task
    • Make sure the Task Scheduler Library is selected in the left pane.
    • Click on the ARI DMS Agent task.

If the ARI DMS Agent task is not visible and you have completed the DMS Agent Scheduled Task install, you may not have opened task scheduler as an admin.

  • Restart the scheduled task
    • Click end.
    • Click run.
    • Click refresh
      • Confirm the status column reads running.

The restarted task should now be running with the right settings.
