Summary
ARI released version 1.28 of Data Manager RT during the maintenance window on February 29, 2024.
Highlights
- The XML Import API now supports the addition of SFTP.
- The XML Import has had default behavior modified for supersessions.
- Previous behavior:
- If a supersession node in the XML is provided and the part being superseded already exists in the system with supersessions, then it would replace any supersessions that already exist in the system with what is being provided.
- Current behavior as of 2/29/2024:
- If a supersession node in the XML is provided and the part being superseded already exists in the system with supersessions, it will append the provided supersessions and not remove any existing supersessions
- Previous behavior:
- Enhancements to login session management deployed. This should help with latest Chrome browser behavior change that caused logout issues requiring caches to be cleared.
- The “Where Used” tab for parts in the “Manage Parts” area has now been updated to show “Where Used” references for supersessions and priors.

- The select existing literature files screen for a model or part’s literature area has been updated to not show redundant results that are already on the currently focused model or part.
