Highlights
New! Enhanced Serial Suffix Support Now Live in Data Manager
Great news for OEMs utilizing serialization! We’ve enhanced Data Manager to support Serial Suffixes, providing you with more precise control over your catalog data.
You can now manage and import serial suffix information in the following areas:
- Hierarchy Tab: Model Serial Tab (Single, Open, Ranged Serials)
- Search: Hierarchy Type = Serial
- UI Import: Serial Import (new Suffix field)
You can begin loading your suffix data into Data Manager today. Please note: Serial Suffix support is not currently available in our viewers, but will eventually be supported by viewers
Fixed Issues:
- We have added protections in our XML and UI imports against parts that were exceeding character limits and causing publishing issues.
- We have added protections in our XML import for ensuring duplicate serials are flagged and handled properly.
- Addressed an issue with unique hotspot scenarios causing a publishing failure.
- We have addressed unique sort order not saving scenarios for divisions in the hierarchy.
- We have addressed unique instances where duplicate images with the same name were entering the system.
- Fixed publish staging and production buttons from causing an error in certain instances when no changes were made since last publish. (see below image)
