- Technical Update: Enhanced Data Guardrails and System Stability
We’ve implemented several updates to Data Manager to improve import reliability and ensure your catalog data remains consistent across all platforms: - Proactive Weight Validation: To prevent downstream “Publish Failures,” we’ve added a validation check for the Weight field. The system now notifies you if a weight value exceeds character limits during XML Import, allowing you to correct data before it impacts your catalog release.
- Manufacturer Insights: We’ve improved data visibility by adding Manufacturer Notes directly to the Model Details page. This gives authors and users instant access to critical model information without having to navigate away from their current view.
- System Refinements: In addition to these features, we have rolled out several under-the-hood stability fixes to our Image Server and Ingestion Services to ensure smoother processing for high-volume catalog imports.
