Highlights
Technical Update: Smoother Imports and Better Data Integrity
We’ve rolled out a few key fixes to Data Manager to help keep your catalogs clean and your publishing on track:
- Better Dimension Validation: We’ve added “guardrails” to part dimensions. To ensure your data publishes successfully every time, the system now validates that dimensions do not exceed 99,999 and limits precision to 3 decimal places. This fix applies to all import methods, including UI and XML.
- Flexible Weight Attributes: Our XML import had an inconsistency with our documentation – we are supporting only WeightUOM (as opposed to “Weight UOM” with a space).

Structural Consistency: We’ve reinforced catalog rules to prevent chapters from being copied into divisions where they aren’t allowed. This keeps your catalog hierarchy consistent with your specific configuration.
